Project Manager Role at PDI IP Systems I&V
The Project Manger role within the Product Development Unit is to plan, execute and complete Integration and &Verification projects within the total projects at the PDU. Project spans from R&D till maintenance of the full product portfolio and technical area.
· experience in the software development lifecycle, the domain of the application and platform;
· scope estimation, planning, time management, scheduling, project costing, and budget management;
· resource planning, resource management, and procurement;
· risk analysis, dependencies, and decision analysis skills;
· presentation, communication, and negotiation skills;
· experience in Project Management;
· leadership and team building capabilities, lead by example and generate energy to create a team spirit and motivate the project;
· conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under stress;
· deliverables based management, a focus on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets (or exceeds) the customer's needs.
The project manager role can usually be combined successfully with other management-type roles, such as Change Control Manager, Deployment Manager, and Process Engineer.
The projects are run as sub projects to the total project within the PDU. The project managers from I&V are in the project teams with responsibility for all parts of the project life cycle including test analysis, test preparation/planning, test execution, test reporting and test environment/tools.The project manager is reporting to the TPM at the PDU, to the Head of I&V and to the I&V steering group.
