Job Description:

  • Directly support the strategic and organizational needs of the business groups by aligning HR strategy, policies & programs with business strategy.

  • Manage the HR/Human capital implications of business change projects/initiatives and identify and drive organizational improvement initiatives. Provide consultation, advice and coaching to management team and employees.

  • Provide direction and guidance to managers and employees regarding all HR related functions such as performance management, career and competence development, employee relations, compensation and organizational efficiencies within the business group.

  • Responsible for managing the planning, development, implementation, administration for assigned business groups in the following HR functions: Employee Relations, Staffing, Training/OD, Employee Development, AAP/EEO, Compensation and Benefits.

  • Focus on building individual, team and organizational capability.

  • Responsible for implementing all Corporate driven programs throughout the business group.

Qualifications

Competence:

  • Experienced in supporting day to day line management of business needs in regards to organizational efficiency, change management, group facilitation skills and leadership development knowledge.

  • Strong HR Generalist background and/or specialist experience in organization development, compensation, benefits, employment and labor relations preferred.

  • Excellent skills building and maintaining internal client relationships.

  • Experience in the full range of HR functional areas including, but not limited to, employee relations, and recruiting, planning and general HR initiatives.

  • Excellent process development and management knowledge.

  • Experience in a high-tech environment is a big plus.

  • Strong analytical, planning skills and strategic thinking required.

  • Working Knowledge and understanding of general management responsibility.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven leader with excellent human relations skills.

  • Extensive Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience including in a services organization preferably in a high tech industry.
