Solutions Manager - (IMS Technology Focus)
Support and develop business with Customer Units based on existing solutions and services portfolio and proactively develop new end-to-end solutions. Propose and sell competitive solutions through a consultative project sales approach, focusing on customer needs and issues, across Ericsson product and services areas, 3rd party products, etc., across multiple accounts. Work with customers to develop, propose and sell solutions, fostering relationships internally with Product Line and CUs and externally with customers and 3PPs that will further the competitive stance with the customer and in the marketplace for Communication Services which includes but is not limited to Enriched Communications, Voice and Video Calling Services, IMS, Subscriber Management, CDMA, GSM and WCDMA Mobile Core and Services (including Systems Integration and Prime Integration services).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development Support:
· Proactively develop new opportunities to drive Communication Services business growth, innovation, and cost efficiency within area of expertise.
· Act as the end-to-end solutions driver or Customer Solution Responsible for Communication Services related bids.
. Perform product dimensioning and generate product ordering carts as per customer specified subscriber projections and traffic model.
· Provide proactive sales support to Customer Units to foster Communication Services thought leadership with customers.
· Support Region marketing efforts through active participation in various sales initiatives and industry events
· Provide project sales leadership for opportunities to ensure timely, high-quality responses that address the following:
o comprehensive end-to-end offering
o clear value proposition
o a pricing structure that is consistent with the winning strategy
· Support Customer Units with Statement of Work definition.
· Actively participate and contribute in customer negotiations and scoping.
· Establish alignment with Operations, Partnering, Sourcing and Project Office on delivery strategy.
· Work with delivery organization to forecast and develop competences to support future business.
· Develop services cost estimates and secure Operations sign-off on the estimated project costs.
