COMPETENCE:
Skills, Experience, and Education:
· Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
· Pertinent Experience - Relevant experience in a Software or Telecommunications environment. This is a posting for multiple position levels with a larger number targeting the 0-5 years of experience.
· Excellent Knowledge of VoIP, 3GPP (IMS - CSCF, HSS, MRF, SBG), IETF (IP Sec, TLS), and SIP based applications.
· Excellent knowledge of IP networking, routing and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter)
· Knowledge of network management and provisioning (XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP)
· Strong knowledge of working with UNIX/Linux, TSP (Telecom Server Platform) and IS-Blade. OMP (Ericsson Open MultiMedia Platform) would be an asset
· Strong knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols required
· Security and Authentication experience preferred
· Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches highly desired.
· Knowledge of Ericsson products and platforms (TSP, NSP, ILE, etc.) highly desired.

TRAVEL: Ability to accommodate greater than 75% travel, for Montreal based positions, or up to 25% for those based in Toronto, including extended stays on customer sites, mostly in US and Canada.
