Job Purpose:
Maintains wireless operations by designing, planning, establishing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving the wireless network; managing staff. You will help develop regional delivery strategies, processes for all Network Rollout projects across Ericsson U.S.
Handle escalations from, Customer units, PMO, and vendors, Review installation / test Methods of Procedures, Serve as the main POC for the Sr. Executive committee on all customer delivery issues.
Work with Sales teams to develop costing information for proposals, develop overall supplier strategy for regional delivery.
Collaboration to develop supply chain project cost and EF&I services for regional deployment.
Managing a cross functional, cross cultural team of local and remote full time and contract employees. Must have hands on knowledge of all installation, project implementation, commissioning, integration optimization and operational maintenance of RAN, LTE.
You will help evaluate existing vendor performance and identify new vendors for delivery supply chain, Maintain KPI's / Quality of existing vendors and internal regional organization.
Duties:

* Achieves wireless operations engineering operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and service standards.
* Meets wireless operations engineering financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing annual and capital budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
* Completes RF engineering projects by establishing project objectives, milestones, and schedules; identifying long-range and short-term issues; specifying technical and human resources required, preparing budgets; evaluating solution options; communicating requirements to team members; reviewing open issues and actions items; coordinating team member actions.
* Designs and plans wireless network by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying radio frequency (RF) engineering techniques and criteria; adapting and modifying RF engineering approaches and options; developing and evaluating new RF engineering approaches; determining equipment requirements; completing and updating frequency plans, cell site parameters; qualifying and selecting vendors and contractors; preparing layouts and schematics.
* Establishes wireless communications by configuring the system; programming and calibrating equipment; supervising equipment installation and turn-up; completing site balancing, talk-in and talk-out calculations.
* Maintains wireless system by monitoring equipment and signal performance; adjusting and retuning equipment; responding to outages and disasters, and managing disaster recovery; preparing disaster response policy and procedure.
* Maximizes system performance by obtaining drive test data; analyzing new cell site performance, antenna downtilts, coverage, interference, and hand-offs; improving coverage and overlap through antenna system redesign; anticipating, identifying, and resolving problems.
* Keeps RF equipment operating by planning, scheduling, and monitoring preventive maintenance; enforcing adherence to operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; establishing service contracts; calling for repairs; designing and conducting training programs.
* Maintains company legal status by enforcing compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC), state, and local requirements.
* Documents wireless system by producing and updating site information, including power calculations and channel plans.
* Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging RF engineering practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Enhances broadcast engineering reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
